After excision of a skin lesion, it is necessary to close such gap in an aesthetic manner. Since the quality of the scar will depend on it.

In many cases in which wide lesions or lesions placed in key areas (not only for the anatomy but also for their functional purposes), it is necessary to use some specific reconstructive methods to hide the sequels.

Scars revision.

Resection is performed on inesthetic scars in order to create smaller and less visible scars. The cheloid scars shall be treated with local perioperatory radiotherapy.

Burns.

After an important burn, sequels are frequent, which will vary according to the magnitude of such burn, the immediate care and its location. The reconstruction shall be focused on improving the aesthetics of the scar and on the mobility and function of the affected area.
