Definitive Depilation

Definitive Depilation

How does depilation with Pulsed Light works?

The equipment emits high powered light impulses to the pigmented hair up to the follicle (its root) therefore eliminating it. This allows the permanent reduction of the density and volume of the hair and, at the same time, improves the aspect of the skin.

How long does the treatment last? Why are so many sessions required?

This method, same as the laser, destroys the hairs that are in a specific growth phase (Anagena), which in average may be 60%, though it varies depending on the area of the body. The number of sessions will depend on the area to be treated, the color and the amount of hair and the type of skin. The amount is calculated from 8 to 10 sessions approximately.

How long does the patient have to wait between sessions?

The patient will have to wait from 30 to 60 days.

Which areas may be treated?

Any area may be treated. Pigmentation of hair is necessary for treatment.

How does the patient get ready for treatment?

It is recommended to get to the session with a hair of 1 or 2 mm. long, therefore it is convenient to shave (not depilate) 2-3 days before.

Is it painful?

Most of the patients tolerate the treatment easily.

When does the patient start seeing results?

From the very first session an important diminution of the strength and density of the hair is evidenced.
