Intense pulsed light (IPL)

It is an excellent treatment at any age. Its power and versatility allows the treatment of solar damage, spots, acne, folliculitis, to permanently eliminate unwanted hair (definite depilation) and to return the skin, not only of women but also of men, a healthy looks.

This equipment emits impulses of a high power light which produce selective photothermolysis in the tissues treated. Therefore, the light beams penetrate the skin and acts on the lesion to be treated heating it and destroying it without harming the surrounding tissues.

What does the procedure consist of?

It is a simple procedure carried out in the consulting room in which the patient will be allowed to return to his/her normal activities immediately. The amount of sessions will vary according to the treatment.
