Information for patients who travel

It is important for a patient who travels to undergo a plastic surgery to be able to enjoy a positive experience in an environment of trust and confidence.

Our center will provide every kind of necessary support so that such journey is pleasant and free from stress. Therefore, within our personnel there is a travel coordinator who will contact the patient to arrange details such as housing, transfers, or may even offer different options as regards touring in our country. Such person will also plan the pre and post operative cares and will assist the patient in all the stages of his/her visit.

Consulting from abroad.

Thanks to technology and communication, today is possible to shorten distances and plan a surgery consulting the surgeon of the patient’s choice. Not only Dr. Petersen, but also Dr. Silva will be able to keep contact with the patient and evaluate his/her photos to estimate a surgical plan. The communication will have to be fluid in order to determine as accurately as possible the arrangements for the surgery and the postoperative needs. The possible surgical options will be discussed, a personal interview with the professional will always be required before surgery in order to agree on last details and evaluate patient closely.

A good communication with the surgeon will lead to a quiet environment and trust, which is our main objective “To be able to provide the patient with a personalized attention, and a safe and cozy environment”.

Post operative cares.

In accordance to the surgery carried out, the doctor will inform the patient the necessary days for post operative cares. In case accompanying is needed, the travel coordinator may arrange for a nurse to assist the patient in the immediate postoperative.
